I wanted to bake something with chickpea flour. After a short thought I had the idea to make these filled chickpea balls and I have to say they are really delicious.
For the balls you need:
- 100g chickpeas flour
- 30g coconut flour
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 egg
Mix all ingredients together. If the dough gets too dry, use a little more water. Now form small cookies, place the filling in the middle and form a ball. Put them on a baking tray and bake the balls at 200ºC for about 10 to 13 minutes.
For the filling use everything you want! I have made three different sorts with chocolate, chocolate/coconut flakes and chocolate/peanuts. The dough isn’t sweet, if you want the balls to be more sweet use a sweetener.

What do you think?
